Visit Norfolk could not ask for a better resource than TheTourOperator to assist operators in building new unique itineraries and destination research. Itinerary-building can be a time consuming process, but this easy-to-use site makes it uncomplicated & effortless! TheTourOperator is a valuable resource by saving time and giving reliable information on destinations all found in one place.
In previous years we had been using www.TheTourOperator.com on blind faith because I felt that tour operators liked it, but in the past year we've even been getting trickles of tracking e-mails when someone downloads our photos telling us who it is and industry segment. When they download photos we know they are using it for brochures or their website.
We use TheTourOperator as a tool to educate buyers about the fact that they can have a wine country experience about an hour from San Francisco. This is the only website that provides me with actual names of the companies that are interested in our product. I've been recommending it to my colleagues in other cities.
We were using Google to research information about destinations, but my entire department now uses TheTourOperator. It's the only website we can find almost everything we need to quickly respond to MICE and Leisure group requests.
We are now using TheTourOperator exclusively for images for our brochures and website promotions.
I registered on the Tour operator.com web site and was amazed at all the information we have available at our fingertips. If everyone would use this for cities we do not use hat much would make all our work life a little easier.
Being able to use pictures to present the destinations to our clients, saves us a lot of time from searching online and not taking the risk of violating copyright laws. The itineraries might be the most used tool of all, since it helps all travel professionals to sell a destination with all the major attractions and/or visits even if we are not familiar with the destination.
As almost 100% of our business involves research and up-to-date knowledge, TheTourOperator website has revolutionized the way we work.
For Travel Agents, without our ability to show pictures of a destination and find timely itineraries to enhance the pictures, we are really stumped as how to really get the message over to our clients.
Personally, I believe this site is a no brainer for us to use. Part of our job is to relate the best unknown facts and positive information and pictures to use. We copy and put so much information out there to our clients using this site. Isn't it kind of like free advertising? If any of your suppliers need a Travel Agent to talk to, just call me. We are here to work with them too, each and every day.
Absolutely love the site, the content, destination pieces, suggested itineraries, royalty free images and travel industry news. Keep up the great work and thank you from all of us at Festival Tours.
The Tour Operator is a useful tool in many ways. The high-resolution pictures are great for reproducing in our direct mail brochures and the itineraries often provide new ideas for our existing or new itineraries. The ease of access is valuable in the busy day of a tour operator.
To industry professionals, TheTourOperator is like a Michelin Guide to gourmets. From itineraries to value coupons and more…A wide array of information about traveling in U.S. are provided with easy access and brilliant multi-language options. It is truly useful, especially for international operators. Love it!
It is impossible to be a member or on close terms everywhere so if there were a central place to go hunting for ideas for theme and special interest trips (our specialty), is a great asset for us. My only advice is "Keep up the good work!"
I read the TourOperator.com for general info about the industry, other than that, I find it very useful, for some destinations that I am not familiar with, also to learn of new properties and services. It fits my needs perfectly, so I cannot suggest any way of improving its content. It is a very professional website and sometimes my only source of information, succinct and easy to read. So, congrats in a well done job and I look forward to receive your emails.
With the fastest growing airport and cruise port on the West coast, it is a natural that the Port of Seattle would be in the business of promoting tourism to Washington State. As we are not a specific Destination Marketing Organization, we do not have a 'go to' website for our international partners to access. TheTourOperator.com provides a global platform enabling us to share itineraries, tips on our destination and royalty free images. The platform also provides opportunities to meet new international tour operators with an interest in the Pacific Northwest. It is always interesting to see what images a tour operator from China might download versus a tour operator in Germany.
lot of photo choices but not too many choices...one of our preferred photo libraries...
My email just blows up with tour operators looking for more information. We can see when they have downloaded our photos to use for itineraries....an amazing platform for South Dakota...
Your website is fantastic...you are providing content to the operators and OTAs like Ctrip in China for branding and marketing a whole new destination to our customers.
Free images, the ability to know what's in a city or destination. Great resource.
It makes our jobs much easier because we don't have to go and individually contact different destinations.
it helps us customize tours and makes our clients happy...
very friendly system, easy to use... photographs that you can use in packages or proposals to the travel agents...
TheTourOperator – it's almost perfect.
It's amazing! I know it is a great tool that will help us.
I can find what I need all in one place...all details, trusted agents. It's amazing
It was great meeting with you and though I wasn’t sure at first it was one of the best meetings I had at IPW. You and the team have one hell of a website that is so very useful for us.
TheTourOperator is an invaluable resource for travel planning. The itinerary suggestions and image libraries are user-friendly and well curated. Having local CVB contact information listed on the destination pages is particularly useful. I have the site bookmarked as content is ever expanding! Keep up the terrific work!
I have the TheTourOperator web page bookmarked as it is such a wonderful resource, and I regularly recommend it to my clients. The site is easy to use, has a clear format, and provides the required tools to enable buyers and suppliers to showcase the USA. There is a wonderful selection of high resolution royalty free images which really is an invaluable resource when selling. Long may it be a success!
